Our neighbors asked us to help rethink their everyday entry sequence, and add a screen porch. They also decided it was time to refresh their kitchen. By building a new desk into their music room, we were able to transform an underused corner into a new breakfast nook and expand the work space of their kitchen without moving any plumbing. Their new kitchen is both familiar and newly invigorating. The screen porch balances a simpler exterior aesthetic with the refined detailing of the historic home.
